How to Convert AVCHD File to iPad 2 on Mac

Step 1: Add the video files

choose your favourate video and add them by clicking the “Add Files” button. Or drag video files to the Mac AVCHD to iPad 2 Video Converter

Step 2. Choose Output Video Format

Choose HD format for iPad 2 and specify your destination folder for output videos.

Follow: “Profile”> “iPad” > “iPad 2 H.264 720p Video(*.mp4)” to convert AVCHD files into HD MP4 format for iPad 2.

Tips: If you want to edit your movie before converting it, you can use various functions including:

Trim the video.
If you want to capture a clip from the current video, you can click the “Trim” button to open the Trim window and trim the current title or chapter by dragging the Start Time slider to set the start time, and dragging the End Time slider to set the finish time.

If you want to remove the black edges or just convert an area from your movie video, you can click the “Crop” button to crop the video of the current title or chapter. You can specify an area by: dragging the frame around the video or setting the crop values: Top, Button, Left and Right.
