How to Convert Protected WMA to iPad on Windows 7, XP or Vista

Every legal music download I’v seen (except iTunes, which doesn’t have much to offer) is only offering WMA and iTunes won’t play them on iPad, how can I get them converted to some readable format? Thanks.

WMA (Windows Media Audio) is Microsoft audio file format. WMA files are playable in Windows Media Player and a lot of portable players and devices. WMA files are usually DRM-protected.

iPad is the most popular Apple device – a tablet PC that gives you ability to surf the Internet, read books, watch the video and listen to the music. It has beautiful design and very convenient user-friendly interface. iPad should be synchronized with iTunes on your PC and all media files are played in iTunes player.

iPads don’t play WMA files because they can play only iTunes supported files.
